Cosplay and Corsets

So what exactly IS cosplay? I'm sure we all have our own version of description here. But here is what the dictionary says: 

According to Google Dictionary, this is the definition of Cosplay: the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game, especially one from the Japanese genres of manga and anime.

I mean really? Japanese? Cosplay to me is literally any form of dress up. From Disney to Steampunk and everything in between! Googles definition is far too restrictive in its description of what cosplay is.

Cosplay and Corsets

Cosplay is definitely meant to be seen! The more the better, it's time to shine and be utterly fabulous, no matter which character you are choosing to be. Cosplay is an art, is still developing and people all over the world are having fun with it. Corsets are often used in cosplay outfits to really make the stand out and pop.

Have you ever dressed up? Have you been to a cosplay convention? I hear they are incredibly fun! 

Corsets make excellent statement pieces for your one-of-a-kind cosplay outfit!  They can be used to give you a more dramatic shape and/or bring together an outfit from any genre! Who would you like to dress up as? Whichever character you choose, I have no doubt you will absolutely rock it!
