Waist Training Tips You Won't Want to Miss

Waist training has become a really hot topic and for good reason. Who doesn't want that gorgeous hourglass waist line? Most women do and I'll be you do too. To achieve that gorgeous look, you are going to want to get yourself a waist training corset. Wearing a waist training corset is also great for your posture. You can't be slouching when you are wearing a proper steel-boned corset.

Here's the tricky part: just like anything else, you need to be consistent or it doesn't work. You can't wear a waist training corset a few days a week for 30 minutes and then wonder why you haven't seen any changes. It takes consistency and wearing your corset over long periods of time. This is why the corset that you purchase is so important.

These  are some tips that you won't want to miss on choosing the right corset for your waist training journey:

Top Waist Training Tips

Don't go cheap: A good waist training corset is not cheap. I know that you want to get started right away and you think that picking up an inexpensive one is a good idea, but it isn't. Those corsets are not going to hold up to extensive wear and they may even be uncomfortable causing chaffing and rubbing. They will also fall apart.

Don't fall for bad labelling: Corsets labeled as "waist training" aren't always what they seem. Some are made of cheap material that are not going to give you what you want, even if you wore it 24 hours a day. Quality is the key. Really look over the details of the corset. If it just says "steel boned" that doesn't cut it.  You need full details and if those aren't laid out for you to see, don't waste your money.

Know the difference: The difference between your regular steel-boned corset and a waist training one are the bones; how many and what type. Waist training corsets at The Burgandy Boudoir have upwards of 20 spiral steel bones that you need as well as the  flat ones. The number of bones makes the difference.

Get the fit: If you really want to go all in, get your corset made to measure for a perfect fit. Don't forget that you are going to be wearing this corset over an extended period of time so having it fit properly right from the start is key.

While waist training is not a magic pill, it can help reshape your waist. Coupling waist training with a healthy diet is a recipe for success. Because you are wearing the corset for such a long time, you are going to be less inclined to stuff yourself when you eat. You are also giving your back tremendous support to walk straight with confidence!

  • You definitely will eat less. But eating the right things is also key. Let’s not forget other benefits a corset can offer. Like relieving certain pains and also helping with anxiety and certain medical conditions. Always seek the advice of your doctor first. More and more of them are prescribing corset wearing. Great article here :)
