What is Waist Training?

So what is waist training all about?

What is this waist training they speak of? Let me give you a brief overview of what waist training is, then next week I will be doing a blog post with some waist training tips.

Traditionally waist training is using a steel boned corset to train your waist IN. To change its shape to give a more hourglass shape to the waist. By pulling your corset in tighter and tighter over time, the waist trainer corset is able to pull in a woman's floating ribs and even do a bit of rearranging of her internal organs to effectively reduce the circumference of her waist. Now this isn't a permanant solution to reducing your waist size, you will have to continue waist training to keep your new shape.

Which waist training corset do I choose?

Now the hard bit, which gorgeous waist training corset do you choose to start your waist training journey on? See the waist training corsets here.

THIS Waist Training Corset is a great starter waist trainer, it's a great length for tall or short ladies if you're feeling a little timid to start waist training properly. It looks great over clothes or under a jumper, so you can waist train on the school run ;) There are a number of longer waist training corsets for taller woman or men who want to feel that tight corset feeling.

Celebrities waist training

More recently you'll hear of celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose have redefined the term with the use of latex waist trainers/cinchers during workouts, shifting the entire concept of waist training - I wanted to make this clear, this is NOT waist training, more like 'waist taming'.

Women discussing "waist training" these days are, more often than not, are confusing what the Kardashians use, not authentic waist trainers.

Please do ask if you have any questions. I'm always happy help.
